Picture-Taking

I've been trying my hand at some camera angles and just having fun with the D70. What else is a mom to do than take pictures of her beloved young? Sorry if you get sick of seeing them. I happen to be quite proud of my young 'uns.

Brag Session

Mary's boy, Jaron, likes to hang out at our place. We have a lot of fun together.

Eli and Gabriel sitting in the stroller as a means of "confining" them for a few minutes while Dan and I got some things done.

Gabe is seriously so close to crawling. He scoots forwards and backwards. Turns around in circles. Pushes himself up on his feet with his hands still on the floor. He says "dada" and "mama." He mimics pretty well. I'm positive that he correlates "mama" with me, though. I'm always the one saying it to him, he hears Eli calling me "Mommy." Whenever I say it, he gets real happy and gives me kisses and holds me close. It's so precious. When he's upset or is impatiently awaiting me to pick him up, he says, "mama mama mama mama..." I love it.

Eli got the camera for me this evening and wanted me to take his picture. Now that I'm looking at it, I can't believe how he's grown. He looks so big! (After saying this, Dan kindly pointed out that he's still shorter than the doorknob.) And he honestly talks non-stop. He has quite a vocabulary and will hold a conversation with whomever will humor him. He's always asking questions and wanting to know what our plans are for the day. He likes to know where everyone is, what they're doing and then we pray for them. He's my little affectionate gem.
